Shipping & Pre-orders

HOW THIS WORKS

Everything here is a pre-order.

We'd rather say that in the first line than bury it in a footer. Nothing is sitting in a warehouse yet. Your order is what puts the fabric on the cutting table.

When it ships

The ship-by date appears on every product page, in your cart, at checkout, and in your confirmation email. It is the date we have committed to in writing with our manufacturer, and we state it conservatively on purpose.

If we're going to miss it, you'll hear it from us first — with a revised date and the option to cancel for a full refund. You will not have to chase us, and you will not have to ask twice.

Your rights, plainly

Under the FTC's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule we must ship by the date we state, or get your express consent to a delay. If you don't consent, you get a full refund. If a delay runs more than 30 days past the original date and you haven't responded, the order cancels automatically and you're refunded.

That's the law, not a favour. We're writing it here because most brands make you go looking for it.

Production updates

You'll get a written update every week your order is in production — including the weeks where nothing interesting happens. Sometimes the update will just be "still cutting, no change." That's fine. Silence for nine weeks is what makes people assume they've been scammed.
